This is the pre-development part of the process. We will interview the owner or senior staff in person, through video chat or over phone about all the details of the project. We will outline the scope of work and services, discuss options, timelines and budgets. We will review existing branding and it's website application. We will outline and explore the creative direction. From there we will create the site flow or information architecture and identify the required site assets and who is responsible for them. Set up drop boxes for content and content tracking documents for copy.

Yes, that is a coffee icon. Because creativity starts with coffee... usually. This is the creative development part of the process. Once we have a plan of action, we will design the website with multiple creative options to review, choose photography and create graphics. This process will start to overlap with the build process once a design direction is chosen.

This is the programming development part of the process. Once we have a design direction, we will set up or connect to hosting, WordPress, Shopify, databases and any other server configurations required. Site structures and templates will be created in Boostrap, WordPress, Shopify or build your CMS from the ground up. Batch production will start for any required graphics. We will start coding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion, PHP, Liquid or any other required programming language. The site will be responsive for desktop, tablet, pad and mobile devices. Project updates will be posted at regular intervals for client review and testing throughout the process.

Your site goes LIVE! We will start with a soft launch for testing, updates and review. Final hosting configuration, 3rd party integration and configuration such as security plug-ins and page caching. SEO development will have already been part of the build process for copy, headers, linking and meta tags. From hear we will be able to refine and update the site as it gets indexed on search engines. We will provide backups of the site content and backup the site server as a baseline finished product.

Maintenance begins. We won't disappear once the site is launched. Some platforms such as WordPress will have regular updates to the core files for security and feature updates. We can update the templates, plug-ins and test the site to keep your site functioning, secure and up to date. If you don't have a CMS or are not comfortable making updates, we can make any content updates required throughout the year. Site additions or redesigns can be planned or added as your business changes and grows.
